For over 20 years we have provided the software & the services to maximize the potential of information technology. In partnership with the major software vendors, we offer the full range of volume licensing programs. Our customer list includes a country-wide cross-section of home users, large and small businesses, corporations, banks, government departments, schools, Colleges & Universities.

We have a large stock available for next-day delivery, and we provide an ordering service for more specialized software and books.

History

1987 Micromail begins trading as a partnership at 146 Bandon Road, Cork

1988 Micromail exhibits at Computex in the RDS, and becomes widely known as a mail order supplier of computer books and software.

1993 Micromail moves to more spacious premises in Crawford Park.

1994 Micromail is named Microsoft Reseller of the year, a title that has never been awarded to any other reseller.

Micromail is incorporated as a limited company.

1995 Micromail goes online at www.micromail.com. Our site is managed for the next 10 years with supreme efficiency and good humour by webmaster Ronan Waide (email: waider at waider dot ie).

1999 Micromail is appointed a Microsoft large Account Reseller, and Microsoft Enterprise Advisor.

2002 Micromail is appointed Adobe's only Irish based Authorised Education Licence Centre. (ALC/ELC).

2005 Una Keeshan sets up Micromail's office in Dublin.

Micromail launches a new website, created by Kevin Allen, Val Bogan and Jane Kelly.

2007 Micromail becomes the Irish Microsoft SPLAR (Services Provider Licence Agreement Reseller) for SaaS (Software as a Service).
