DameWare NT Utilities (DNTU) is an enterprise system management application for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista which allows Administrators to go beyond the limitations of Microsoft's Management Console (MMC). DNTU provides an integrated collection of Microsoft Windows NT administration utilities, incorporated within a "easy to use" centralized interface for remote management of Windows Servers and Workstations. Most all of the standard utilities are included within DNTU's powerful Explorer-style interface, many of which have been greatly enhanced to provide superior performance, added functionality, and ease of use. DNTU also contains custom NT tools including the DameWare Mini Remote Control program and the Exporter, and also supports the use of standard shell property pages and shell context menus.

The DameWare Mini Remote Control (DMRC) program is loaded with numerous features to help IT professionals get the most out of remote control connectivity. Unlike other Remote Control programs, the installation of the Mini Remote Control Client Agent does not install low-level drivers nor does it replace any existing Operating System drivers. This in turn eliminates a reboot of the remote machine when connecting. By simply using Microsoft Windows API calls to interact with the local and remote machines, the Mini Remote Control is considered to be the most lightweight and independent remote control application on the market.

The Easy Way To Acquire Networked Systems Information.
The DameWare NT Utilities Exporter (DWExporter) is an easy to use tool that leaves no footprint on a remote machine and allows an Administrator to selectively export information from remote Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 machines, including information about Computers, Disk Drives, Groups, Printers, Members, Services, Shares, Software, Users, & even information via WMI (Windows Managements Instrumentation) classes. A graphical interface enables you to browse the network for machines to be included in the export process and once selected, export files can be created from the selected tasks for the specified machines. Output from the Exporter can also be saved to several different formats, including XML (Extensible Markup Language) or CSV (Comma Separated Value), which can then be easily imported into your favorite third-party reporting program or database utility for additional reporting options.
