If you have two or more PCs, then there is a volume licence programme to suit: Microsoft Open licence programme (MOLP) also known as Open Business. To qualify you will need to buy 5 licences of any type.
If you have 5 or more PCs, are interested in keeping your software up-to-date, and would like to annualise your licensing costs, then you may be interested in Open Value, which is a rental purchase program, or Open Value Subscription, which is a non-perpetual rental program with annual savings and possible tax benefits.
If you have 250 or more PCs, or are part of a large organisation that has a worldwide agreement, then the Select or Enterprise Agreement will be the best option.
Government bodies can purchase their Microsoft products under Government Open Licence programme (GOLP) and Select programmes. Government Open Licence programme is based on the Microsoft Open Licence programme with special government pricing. Benefits include discounted pricing, on-line purchase history and installation keys, licence flexibility plus optional SA (Software Assurance).
There are programmes for higher education (Campus & Select) that are particularly appropriate for CHEST-affiliated institutions. For Primary and Secondary schools there is the NCTE Select Agreement, the School Agreement, and, for schools nominated by the Department of Education, the Partners in Learning School Agreement.
Academic Open licence pricing is available to all registered charities.
