Preliminary system requirements for Office 2010 include the following:
•Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista or Windows 7 Operating Systems.
•You don't need to replace hardware that is capable of running Office 2007; it will support Office 2010.
•500 MHz or higher processor
•256 MB or higher memory
•1.5 GB; a portion of the disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive.
•The Office Web Apps are designed to work with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox web browsers.
64-bit edition
Publisher 2010 64-bit edition can be installed on Windows 64-bit operating systems, and is backward-compatible with other versions of Publisher. Users can open, edit, and save any Publisher 2003, Office Publisher 2007, Publisher 2010 32-bit edition, or Publisher 2010 64-bit edition file on a computer that is running either a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows operating system.
