Stephen joined Micromail back in 2006, becoming a senior licensing specialist within the Microsoft and Adobe teams. In 2011 he took on the role of Quality Manager and guided Micromail to ISO 9001:2008 certification the following year, subsequently overseeing Micromail’s upgrade to ISO 9001:2015. Since 2013 he has held the role of General Manager with responsibility for overseeing daily operations within Micromail. Stephen is a key player in the successful integration of Micromail with Ergo. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Geography and a Higher Diploma in Business & Financial Information Systems from University College Cork. Stephen recently attained a Postgraduate Diploma in Management with the Irish Management Institute.

I am very excited to announce that Micromail has been accepted into the Adobe Education Elite Partner Program for 2021. Micromail becomes the first Irish partner to be accepted into this program and now joins a very select group of only 20 Education Elite partners throughout all of Europe.

I am very pleased to announce that Micromail has been selected as the exclusive supplier of Microsoft Azure in Ireland under the OCRE IaaS+ framework agreement. For the past 4 years Micromail has been a supplier of Microsoft Azure under the GEANT framework. OCRE is the successor to GEANT so we are very happy to continue to supply Azure and associated services to the Higher and Further Education community within Ireland for the next 4 years.

The HEAnet is Ireland’s National Research and Education Network (NREN) and HEAnet clients can avail of the OCRE framework.

Micromail is proud to announce that after a recent audit by the NSAI we have been recertified to ISO 9001:2015 for the provision of software licensing solutions and software asset management services. Our new certification remains valid until 22 January 2024 and brings our relationship with the NSAI and ISO 9001 to more than a decade.

Back in October 2019 Micromail secured a position on the Irish Government Framework Agreement for the provision of Microsoft Licensing Services with the contracting authority being the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. This is a very select framework with only 3 Microsoft LSP’s (Licensing Solution Provider) in total having secured positions. Services available from Micromail under the framework include the purchasing of Microsoft licenses plus Microsoft licensing and SAM consultancy services.

Under this new Framework Micromail also secured single supplier status for the Initial Agreement which means for the first year of the framework clients with a provision of Microsoft Licensing Services up to the value of €144,000 (Ex VAT) can contract directly with Micromail.

Framework clients (Central Government Departments, Local Authorities and Government Agencies and Organisations) can continue to receive the high levels of service and expert advice they have become accustomed to receiving from Micromail through previous frameworks.
